Following the August meetings of GMMMG and CEGC, the following actions have been published to the GMMMG website.
Updates to formulary and RAG list
- Moviprep removed from formulary; Plenvu added. Plenvu and sodium picosulfate with magnesium citrate made equal first choices and assigned RED RAG status
- Phenobarbital elixir added as grey and green (specialist advice), criterion 1, and annotated: “For select adult patients only in whom ethanol (alcohol) consumption is safe and appropriate, due to safety concerns regarding the ethanol (alcohol) content, and where solid dosage forms are not suitable. Not for use in children”
- Freestyle Libre 2 Plus and Dexcome One+ added to formulary
