Following the November meetings of GMMMG and CEGC, the following actions have been published to the GMMMG website. This includes the recommendations made by GMMMG in November 2024 and NICE Technology appraisals published in July 2024. Updates to formulary and RAG list
- Fezolinetant for VMS symptoms of menopause added as “decision pending”, to be reviewed when NICE guidance is published
- Brand names for biologics which now have biosimilars available were removed from formulary, and replaced with a best value biosimilar statement: adalimumab, etanercept, infliximab, rituximab, tocilizumab, ustekinumab, teriparatide, ranibizumab
- Ivacaftor–tezacaftor–elexacaftor, tezacaftor–ivacaftor and lumacaftor–ivacaftor for cystic fibrosis – red
- Etranacogene dezaparvovec for haemophilia B – red
