On behalf of the GMMMG Clinical Reference Group, we now seek comments on the actions proposed at the July 2025 CRG meeting. Actions in this consultation include:
- Dienogest for endometriosis – green (specialist advice) and second line
- Olopatadine / mometasone nasal spray for severe allergic rhinitis – green and grey (criterion 3)
- Tirzepatide for type 2 diabetes – to be positioned alongside semaglutide as a first line weekly GLP-1/GIP agonist
- Dapagliflozin (all indications) – to be the preferred SGLT2 inhibitor for all licensed indicactions
- Sumatriptan / naproxen (Suvexx) – Do Not Prescribe (criterion 2)
- Discontinued brand names to be removed from formulary, and replaced with generics – Caverject, Dalacin, Dalacin T, Dalacin C, Premarin, Provera.
- Levemir – remove from formulary, and add note that there should be no new initiations. Product scheduled to be discontinued
- Diazepam 2mg/ml oral solution – product discontinued, remove from formulary
- Somapacitan for growth hormone deficiency – red
- Efgartigimod for myasthenia gravis – Do Not Prescribe
- Spesolimab for generalised pustular psoriasis flares – red
- Marstacimab for haemophilia – red
- Sparsentan for primary IgA nephropathy – red
