On behalf of the GMMMG Clinical Reference Group, we now seek comments on the actions proposed at the November 2025 CRG meeting. Actions in this consultation include:
- Fenofibrate for diabetic retinopathy in type 2 diabetes – green (specialist advice)
- Fluticasone / azelastine nasal spray – green and grey, first line, to be prescribed generically. Ryaltris (mometasone / olopatadine) to be second line
- Bydureon BCise – discontinued, remove from formulary
- Terbutaline 0.5mg/ml injection – discontinued, remove from formulary
- Medicines for tuberculosis – supply issues have eased, remove formulary restrictions
- Garadacimab for hereditary angioedema – red
All links to NICE clinical guidelines and MHRA drug safety updates will be added to formulary as appropriate.
