CRG actions October 2024
On behalf of the GMMMG Clinical Reference Group, we now seek comments on the actions proposed at the October 2024 CRG meeting. Actions in this consultation include:
- Modafinil 100mg & 200mg for multiple sclerosis-related fatigue – green (following specialist initiation)
- Alverine / simeticone (SimAlvia) – green (following specialist advice), third line
- Vibegron for overactive bladder syndrome – green (alternative)
- Iptacopan for PNH – red
- Evinacumab for homozygous familial hypercholesterolaemia – red
- Exagamglogene autotemcel for beta-thalassaemia – red
- Faricimab for visual impairment caused by macular oedema – red

GMMMG formulary migration
Prior to migration to a new platform, CRG now seek comments on formulary amendments intended to close gaps in the GM formulary. This includes issues such as missing RAG statuses or removal of medicines which are no longer available.
