RAG/DNP

The GMMMG formulary and RAG list have been merged and migrated to netFormulary; please visit https://www.greatermanchesterformulary.nhs.uk/ to access the formulary.

The new formulary replaces both the prior formulary and the adult RAG list, and holds all of the information in a single, easy to navigate layout which is clearer and simpler to update than the existing resource. The merge has been performed to improve useability and governance, reduce risk of error, and facilitate timely publication of GMMMG decisions.

The information has been transferred across from the existing resources and there should not be any changes to adult RAG or formulary status for the majority of medicines and devices. The exception to this is where previously listed medicines and devices did not have an adult RAG status. In these cases GMMMG have sought to apply the most appropriate status to reflect current best practice through review by the Clinical Reference Group and the normal GM-wide consultation.
